Now that the winter olympics have ended, i am afraid to say it, Russia is free to invade without taking attention away from its ally, China.

Ukraine, a territory rich in natural resources and one of the most industrialized countries in Europe. It seems obvious what they want. Crimea was just a test of resolve, to see how the rest if the world would react to an outright invasion. The world sat back, imposed useless sanctions, and Russia proceeded to secure its new territory.

Now they are pretending, humoring, the rest of the world with diplomacy. All the delays and created ceasefires only serve to give the Russian military more time to prepare, more time to gauge possible resistance and response from European countries willing to sacrifice Ukraine in order to keep the Bear at bay. Not unlike the ceasefires prior to WWII, and we know what resulted after that.

May we have the resolve to respond for justice, and may humanity survive its own tests of survival.
